What services will my treatment include?
Your treatment at Better Life Recovery & Wellness will include substance use treatment grounded in the 8 dimensions of the SAMSHA Wellness Wheel – emotional, social, occupational, financial, environmental, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. We utilize a holistic, evidence-based, trauma-informed approach to assist each of our clients in their journey in recovery and wellness.
Do you take insurance?
We currently offer out of network and self-pay options. Our staff will work with you to make sure you receive all of the necessary paperwork to ensure the reimbursement process with your insurance carrier is as easy as possible. Each month you will receive an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance carrier with your health insurance claim to receive reimbursement.
Is my treatment information confidential?
In accordance with state and federal guidelines set forth in HIPAA and 42 CFR, Better Life Recovery & Wellness is committed to ensuring our clients privacy in treatment. It is our belief that treatment is a deeply personal decision that an individual makes to move forward in their wellness journey and that the treatment environment should be protected as a sanctuary where that process can take place. All HIPAA and 42 CFR guidelines will be adhered to during the course of treatment.
Do you offer teletherapy?
In an effort to remove all possible barriers to treatment, meet the needs of our clients, and remain sensitive to NJ State COVID response guidelines and protocols, we offer both in-person and teletherapy options. We currently utilize Microsoft Teams and Google Meets platforms in order to give our clients the most discreet, privacy protected, and user friendly treatment experience possible. In person therapy follows all NJ COVID Safety protocols.
